Don’t know where to start? We’ve got you!

We know that sometimes things just happen. There are not enough hours in the day to get all the things you need to do, done.

Planning takes time, and more importantly, space to think! Creating content (copy and creative stuff) and strategies requires many hours of work, rework, conversations, and more rework. But fear not, we have a plan to get you started. We’ll keep this short because we know more than anyone, time is money!

Here are 5 easy steps to help you get sorted for 2024:

  1. Make a list of priorities and set realistic/achievable goals. Remember, small wins can be powerful!
  2. Know your big ticket items, like major events. Giving the most important tasks your main focus. What actions do you need to take by when? Events require a lot of planning and communication.
  3. Manage your time. Make a habit of the things you need to do daily, weekly, and monthly. You will soon get into a groove and be unstoppable. Use your calendar, a board on the wall, or good old pen and paper, whatever works for you.
  4. Use tools, templates, and spreadsheets to help you. HubSpot has tons of marketing templates. Hootsuite has some great social media tools to help you grow online as well as a handy report on 2024 social trends. Use Canva to create your images, and yes there is a free plan! Get a social media scheduler to schedule content ahead of time, or make use of in-app planners. Growth Collective has put together a VERY comprehensive list of schedulers for 2024. Last but not least, there are many templates in MS Office and there is always good old Google, I can assure you, somewhere someone has created a template for what you need!
  5. Set review points throughout the year to assess where you are at, if you’re on track, or if you need to make any changes. (Put these in your calendar!)

Once you have identified what you need to do; when and how you will do it, things will become more manageable. Remember to be patient with yourself, and don’t be shy to ask for help.
